Rain, Rain Go Away

Remember that little ditty from your childhood? Well, it's still appropriate for today around Poverty Flats. The rain started sometime before daylight yesturday and was still coming down about an hour ago. There is relief in sight however. The sun is supposed to shine tomorrow and Wednesday, then more rain for the rest of the week.
That's really no big surprise around here for this time of year. It's just typical Spring in Southwest Missouri. In a few more weeks the rain will stop. And when I say stop, I don't mean just slow down some. It will stop for about 4-6 weeks. But, the farmers say they need it, all the while grumbling because it's too wet to plow.
Some of us would complain if we were hung with a brand new rope. Notice I said WE.
But lest we forget, the sun IS shinning, somewhere, all the time. Even when it is cloudy, if we rise above the overcast, we will see the sunshine.....

Hi Don,

We had rain from Sunday evening until sometime afternoon yesterday but nothing to bad. We ended up with about a half inch, that's all. But it didn't stop me from my work, the paint dried slower than usual though. It cleared off last night and now I see we have FROST this morning!

I read the comment on my blog you left yesterday, that seam tape sounds like it is really cool. If I wasn't to tight to go buy new jeans I might not have to have them hemmed up. I hate going to buy new clothes!

You have a great day and take care,
Bill
