I didn't realize it had been so long since I last posted . Time is rolling along, the days are getting a little longer and Spring is in the air. I drove into town yesturday to get a haircut and saw two patches of daffodils in full bloom. Never knew yellow could be so beautiful. My maple trees are budding out, and the grass is beginning to green up in spots. Spring is without a doubt my favorite time of the year. I always look forward to the world around me coming back to life after a long winter. I guess that is one reason why I love gardening so much. The idea of putting a seed in the ground and watching new life come from it fascinates me. I believe God, in all His infinite wisdom, gave us gardening and growing our food in this manner to remind us constantly of the promise of a resurrected life. I miss Granny so much that it is hard to function most of the time. But I take immeasurable comfort in knowing that there is a Springtime coming for BOTH of us,in which we will grow and bloom together forever in a realm where there will be no Autumn or Winter.
Well, Hurricane Hailey is awake now so time for rambling is over. She is my reality check. When she wakes up , it is cartoons and strawberry cereal, in that order. Next year she will be in school all day with her sister Kelsey. That is a scary thought !!
Maybe I should write a letter of apology to the school now. Really, they are a couple of really great kids who keep my life from becomming unbearably boring.
May everyone have a really great day, and as always....

Hi Don,
Glad to see your post. I feel the same way about spring, it is like a rebirth, everything starts all over and it's wonderful.
Maybe you should go ahead and write an apology to the school, just in case :)
Hope you have a great day,
Bill
P.S. I miss her very much too!!
Don..I'm glad to see your post, too. I kept checking all the time, just in case.
It makes my heart ache to know how much you are missing your sweet wife, but like you said, there will be a day when you will be together, and never have to worry about parting again..throughout eternity.
Now..don't wait so long before your next post, okay? :)
Bill, I think I will drop her off at the school and run. DM
Jan, thanks again for your concern, and for your blog.Don't know how you gather so much info but I really enjoy reading it. DM
